Honoring Rob Trulaske: Why We Ride 

Rob Trulaske wasn’t just the founder of True Manufacturing—he was the heart of our company. He believed in doing things the right way, taking care of others, and building something meaningful. When cancer touched Rob’s life, our mission to support groundbreaking cancer research became personal. Today, Rob’s Riders—our dedicated True Refrigeration team—rides in his memory, carrying on his legacy of compassion and commitment. 

Taste the Cause – Powered by True 

The Ride Weekend kicks off with Taste the Cause, a one-of-a-kind evening where the region’s top restaurants and beverage vendors come together to support Pedal the Cause. We’re proud to provide the refrigeration that keeps everything fresh and running smoothly, helping showcase the incredible culinary talent while ensuring food safety. It’s an evening full of flavor and generosity, and we’re honored to play a key role behind the scenes. 

Ride Weekend: Every Pedal Counts 

Ride Weekend is more than a cycling event—it’s a celebration of community, hope, and determination. Whether it’s the 100-mile ride or the family-friendly Kids Challenge, there’s a place for everyone. Riders of all ages and fitness levels come together to raise funds for Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. 

For those who prefer to stay closer to home base, the Stationary Spinning Bike Zone offers a great way to get involved and break a sweat for the cause. 

Each year, dozens of True employees, friends, and families sign up to be part of Rob’s Riders. Wearing our team jerseys, we ride with purpose—motivated by Rob’s spirit and the mission to fund cancer research that can save lives. The dedication of our employees shows just how deeply this cause resonates throughout the True family.
