TRUE GIVES BACK
BCI Skills Center
Giving back isn’t a slogan—it’s a commitment. That commitment comes to life in our growing partnership with the Boone Center, Inc. (BCI) Skills Center, where the mission is clear: to help adults with disabilities gain the training, confidence, and opportunity they need to thrive in the workforce. It’s a mission we proudly stand behind.
Training That Inspires
The BCI Skills Center is a groundbreaking vocational training hub located in St. Peters, Missouri. Since its founding in 2019, the center has served as a bridge between potential and opportunity. Students go through an immersive eight-week training program that focuses on both hard and soft skills. From manufacturing fundamentals to workplace communication and teamwork, the curriculum is designed to prepare individuals for real jobs in real companies. What makes this center unique is its close collaboration with businesses like ours to tailor each training program to the actual work environment students will enter.
True’s Mission of Inclusion
At our O’Fallon facility, more than 30 BCI Skills Center graduates are currently employed full-time. Many began their journey with us through the BCI partnership, gaining hands-on training and mentorship before ever stepping foot on our production floor. These individuals bring not only skill and reliability but a level of commitment and positivity that lifts up our entire workforce. In fact, our retention rates for employees with disabilities are significantly higher than the company average—a reflection of the mutual investment between True and each of these team members.
For us, this isn’t just about filling jobs—it’s about creating a culture of inclusion, respect, and opportunity. When individuals with disabilities are given the tools and support to succeed, the entire community benefits. We see it every day on our production lines, in the break rooms, and at team events. We see people growing, supporting one another, and taking pride in their contributions.
“When you come into BCI the team members are really outgoing and it’s very heartwarming. They’re so happy to be a part of something. It really affects you in your heart and the way you look at things. It excited me to have the team members coming to True to work.”
